Hello everyone! I am beggining to learn how to play trills.
It''s kinda hard for me since I feel I have to loosen up my fingers a little
bit. I have 2 questions. Are there any exercises that help me out to loosen them
up??? Also I would like to know with what key I should trill C2???? Thanks
everyone!!!!

The correct fingering for C2-D2 is a C fingering while
trilling the first trill lever. Check your music and make sure it says
TR~~~~~~~~ and doesn't include a flat sign. other symblos for a trill vary and
include TR, TR~~~, TR*, and ~~~~~ I would STRONGLY reccomend buying Standard of
Excellence book three for flute. I has a PERFECT trill chart that is not hard to
read(not to mention a great fingering chart). There are also some online... I
always practice trills going chromatically up trilling each note to the next,
but thats just me. Also, make sure that if your piece is from the bach era that
you trill starting on the note above.(something I learned from Susan Gall at the
New England conservatory) If you are confused or have any more questions feel
free to ask.

Hi Kendall and everyone reading this!!! Well I now know
how to trill C2. It's really hard to find music or any other flute book where
I'm from. So I always have to look for information online. I was thinking do
you know any links where I can find the fingering for the trills??? So I want to
practice them 'till my fingers feel numb. Thanks for your help!!!!
