curious about the number, 21805, engraved on my flute

Post by serena »

Hello! I am an oldie teaching myself out of an Australian 7-11year olds beginners flute book, to play a vintage, L.Vanotti Milano = Italy, flute, that I bought for $90 off ebay, and had posted to me in NZ. I love this flute, and can't find out much about its history, and was wondering if anyone knew what the numbers, 21805, engraved on all three parts of the flute, mean. Thanks in advance for your answer!

Those digits would be the serial number of the flute.
