piccolo headjoint slippage..lol

hey everyone. i got a gemeinhardt 4s piccolo and the head joint keeps falling out. Its not misshapen or bent in any way, and i wa wondering if anyone knows anything i could put on it to keep it from slipping. thanks a lot

you should probably take it to your local repair person and have them resize the headjoint tenon, a headjoint falling off of your instrument is never good. although, in the meantime, you can use plumber's tape (it's white and is not sticky, but you can wrap it around the tenon and it will stay on pretty well). hope that helps!
