Help picking new pieces!

Post by Kteaparty »

Hello! I'm a music education major in my junior year, and for the fall semester my private instructor wanted me to chose some new pieces to learn. She gave me a list of over 300 pieces to go off of...but naturally I'm overwhelmed. I just finished Mozart's Concerto in D major, so I would like to broaden my horizons a bit and pick some more contemporary or romantic pieces. I already know I want to play Air de Ballet by Saint-Saens, but other than that I'm lost. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
