Have any of you heard about an upright headjoint from Drelinger? They say the sound isn't comprimised with it - but I wonder. Any thoughts?

Yes,
I have heard of it. Actually I have seen it. I had a techer with chronic pain who couldn't play her flute in a normal position. She got an upright headjoint. She says it's wonderful because the flute is upright so you can hear it in both ears.
But I must warn you it can possibly be a hard transition. Also it has all kinds of attachments and neck straps so it's a little complcated. Lastly it was very exspensive I hear
But the sound was that of a top quality headjoint.
