Artley model (Silver?) 18-0 flute serial #608013 w/brass cleaning rod, a hollow grey cleaning mop and an mint case

Post by coco »

Hello.
I recently was given by my grandmother, one Artley model (Silver?) 18-0 flute serial #608013 w/brass cleaning rod, a grey cleaning mop together inside it's original mint case.
I know little or nothing about flutes and I would very much appreciate any information in regard to this flute to include it's possible value.
Thank you, Mark

They seem to go for anywhere from $8 - $35. I'm guessing it's depending on condition and interest in the auction.

Another quick Googling for specs showed student model and silver-plated. "Probably."

I have an Artley 18-0 serial: 520770 and I am unsure of what metal it is but I do know that it has given me many problems, it’s very unreliable and breaks on me all the time, the keys are also stiff and do not flow. If it is in an average condition, I would list it $150>
