I got second chair in Concert band at school! I beat out all the Freshman and a Junior! One girl is better then me but I was aiming for third so I'm proud. Now I can probably get into Symphonic band next year!

Congrats! I'm in a 3-way tie for 1st chair, so I'm either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd/13. Out of how many flutes?

Congratulations Adam08. Even though I am adult flute player, I know how exciting chair placements can be. It sounds like you had a goal and worked hard to reach it so I am sure if you keep working hard that you will reach your goal for next year too
