my name is amanda. i am 16 years old. i have been playing flute for 5 years now and have been taking lessons that long. i am now in high school i am in 10th grade. but ya jus putting some thing on here. i also play guitar but i jus started and im teaching my self. band is also my favoite class. amanda

did u play something else or is flute ur first? i started out on flute. i think after u learn one insturment u can get the feel of it to teach your self, but if flute was my very first i dont no if i could do it. band is really fun tho. we r getting new music rite now i dont really like the pice that much but i think ill get used to it.

I play French Horn for band. I've taken up the flute on my own. After you learn the basics, it is really not hard to teach yourself a different instrument. I want to learn clarinet next, but my director won't teach me. I'm in 8th grade currently, so our band music isn't exactly exciting . But next year, once I hit high school, I can't wait to see the music I'll get to play!

ya high skewl music is better, it gets harder and more fun. omg my band teacher is a french horn major, he would luv to hav u in his class. he favors the french horns he even admits it. but then he says how the flute players in like all of his classes r the best musicaly. i thought that wuz kinda kewl, he says we no how to count jus do stuff music stuff lol. but u will hav fun next year. if u do marching band its a blast, i had a lot of fun. well later

I am looking forward to marching! Last year, marching band almost made it to state! Even though I'm in 8th grade, I got to go to contest with them! It was a blast
