Help with info about my late mother's Haynes flute

Post by mizzy64 »

I inherited my mother's Wm. S. Haynes flute a number of years ago. I believe she purchased it in the late 1950s or early 1960s. I'm not sure if this is the serial number, but above "REG. TRADEMARK" is the number 29547. How can I find out more about this flute?

I am moving to Mexico and can't take it with me so I will have to sell it, but the first step is knowing more about it. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

An unofficial list of Haynes serial numbers indicates your flute was made in 1960:

To confirm the year or to get additional information about the flute, you can contact Haynes Flute directly via their contact page:

I hope that helps!
