Is this a real tryout?

Post by MvAuMsPrInCeSs06 »

Try outs for an area highschool band is coming up on April
17 at 8:00am. They want to charge $5.00 for each student trying out. The Tryout
requirements only say... "Audition for wind players will consist of 5 scales:
B-flat, E-Flat, A-flat, D-flat, and F major scales." Is that a real tryout? I
think that is to simple... do you think that the will at least have sight
reading? Please send your opinion.

Who knows? I wonder why they're charging $$? Just scales
seems pretty simple, but maybe they're just trying to see what you can do with
limited notes. Be prepared for anything though. [:)]
