Hi, I am new to this forum. I have recently bought myself a flute. 20 years ago when I was in high school I played in our school band and played clarinet. Not the instrument I wanted but we had to many flute players so I had to play something else.

I also play piano but no longer have my clarinet. It has been years as you can tell since I have even had a woodwind instrument. So yes it sounds like a sick cow when I blow into it.

What I am hoping to get from this forum is some help with the learning of my flute. This instrument is a favorite of mine and I am determined to learn it.

I would like to star off with some suggestions on what keys make C what keys make D etc. Is there a really good, easy basic site that can help me with this or does anyone here have this help for me that they would like to share?

I think you have found site exactly like one you are searching for. Check lessons on this site, there you will find also very nice fingering chart as well.

If you like example lessons, I would strongly recomend paying one year membership and get access to all lessons, I think you will find them quite valueable, and I bet you will progress very quickly.

Sincerely yours
Bojan
