Solos

Post by SaturnCat »

Hello!

Does anyone recommend any good solos for flute. I can try out any level.
If you know where there is a recording of it online please let me know.
It would be very helpful.

Thanks! :D

Maybe you could find the piccolo solo from the Stars and Stripes forever. I heard that was a good solo and was pretty hard though.

It's called "Concertino for Flute and Piano" by Cecile Chaminade; I believe it's a level 5 or 6--hopefully that's not too hard for you. It's really pretty!! :D I don't know of any online recordings of it; you could do a search on Google, I guess.
Oh Thank You KrazyFlutist1200!
I heard some like up to measure 25 and it was so BEAUTIFUL!
I found some of it here.

Do you know out of what the level (is like 5 out of 10)?
It is nice that you are playing that one. :D

I am sorry but I could not find anything Band_Geek.

there are lots of solos, it just depends on your level.

7th grade: the "Serenade" is a good one, challenging but good
8th grade: "Entracte" is good, L'arlisienne is good also
9th grade: start working on Concerto in G Major by Mozart or andthing
from the music by french composers book

hope this helped
