Of course, I fancy the boys at MIT can make some really spiffy metronomes using gyroscopes and multicolored LED's; do, might want to look into what modern science has to offer as well!


(The boys at MIT, sexist? I think not. It has long been known that the girls went to Jupiter to more stupider. -Edit.)

If you have a smartphone, try some metronome apps, they are not too expensive. I have a Korg (metro/tuner) thrown in with the flute and it's gathering dust.
