I purchased a Miya in July with straubingers and have had a miserable time with my G key. I don't eat/drink anything before playing and always rinse or brush before playing, but still have that one sticky pad! It's driving me nuts. Maybe I will try the flute juice! Thanks for the recommendation.

I had the same problem when I got my new Pearl, 'Sticky keys' on a new flute generally happen when you blow warm, moist air through - the pads don't respond well to this air and usually become a little unsettled. That's why it's really important to get a new flute serviced after about three months, this gives the pads time to settle, and a good time to replace.
