Black flutes...

Ive seen a black flute on the front of a music book, team
woodwind or whatever it is called, does anyone know if you can actually buy
these and if so, where from?[:bigsmile:]

These are wooden flutes and they have a different
quality of sound. Generally, players more often play wooden piccolos rather than
flutes, while wooden flutes are traditionally used in charanga music (cuban
orchestration and style of playing). You should be able to find these
instruments in a professional music shop. You can also take a look at a few at
www.fluteworld.com, under instrument - baroque flutes category. Hope this

thanks [:)] i'll just stick to my metal one, lol. the
black ones with silver buttons look so cool though, damnit!!![:praise:]

I think it was the Yamaha YFL-894HV that I saw. but
£4,230 is a bit too much for me![:((]
