Hello all! I started playing a copper flute
about two weeks ago. A competition here called for building an instrument, so I
decided the flute was the way to go. Anyways, part of the project is to play a
duet with a partner (my friend built a stand-up bass). My problem is that I
don''t know of any good sounding and simple music. Any suggestions? I''ve
played the clarinet in school for 7 years, so I know my way around music.
It''s just the flute embouchure that still trips me up. By the way, I''ve
tuned the flute to G (it probably doesn''t matter, though). Thanks, Paul

Look around for some Alto Flute music,
since it's also tuned in G. Then your partner can improvise with the bass
(whatever notes you play on the beat, she/he plays).
