Must be a typo.
Signet was their "step up" flute.
Bundy was their "student" flute.
Selmer Omega was their "professional" (all siver) flute.

In 8th grade (1969) while playing an Armstrong 104, I remember asking my godfather for a open-hole Signet flute (B foot),
but he went to Hong Kong and brought back a Selmer Omega (C foot). It was sharp (probably A=442) compared
to the other flutes in the band. I remember my band director having a Commercial Powell that I lusted over.
He gave me lessons and would let me borrow his flute when I played competitions.
I played this Selmer flute until I got my Haynes in 1972 (by then I had a scholarship at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music).
Used this Haynes until I got my Brannen in 2010.

Yeah, maybe a typo or he's been smoking some stuff or just has absolutely no idea what that is worth. He's a relative novice on eBay, only 10 sales to date.

That Signet is roughly equivalent to an Armstrong 90 (the closed hole version of the 80). Sterling body, head, and foot but plated keys. Note what appears to be plating wear off on the low C key. Might be worth $300-$400 if it were in immaculate, like new condition. Of course, on eBay, you never know. People have paid big bucks for junk... If he really wants that much for it, he'll have to claim it was played by the real Pied Piper. ( not me )
