Hey all! I'm new to this forum and decided I might want to introduce myself. Ummmm, this is my fourth year playing the flute. I've been to honors Band twice and Solo & Ensemble once. Ummmm, I'll probably say something to do with birds as much as possible

. I don't know what else I should say....What do you guys talk about here?

Hello, we give advices, help, info on new flutes to buy, etc etc. Basically anything related with flute playing and flutes.

yeah, pretty much. Although, sometimes issues about technical aspects of flutes [ pinless mechanisms, upper/ lower partials in relation to sound projection.... flute pads....] get a bit heated here, and quite a debate ensues. But, everything stays under control, and it is good that people get to see such varying opinions.

Alrighty...I've been having flute problems lately, so I've been searching for good flute forums. Guess I'm at the right place?

Yup...I'm not much of an expert here though, I'm more of that person who asks questions rather than answering... Although there are lots of flute savvies in here.

I guess so! A lot of people here seem to be from the 8notes flute forum as well. I'm not an expert either. I think I'll be doing a LOT of asking here.
