Help! Does anybody know when Ian Clarke was born?

Greetings All,

I have a general enquiry that I hope someone somewhere might know the answer too. I am a third year music student and I am writing programme notes for my final exam. I am playing the piece Orange Dawn by Ian Clarke (composer/flautist), but currently I am unable to submit said programme notes as I can't find out anywhere when he was born! Does anybody know? Can anybody suggest an appropriate year?

I would really like to know this as well! I am writing the program booklet for a flute convention and have been digging around the internet, far and wide, to no avail. Maybe I'll try to email the flute list. They are pretty helpful with this sort of thing.

Did you ever think he might not want his age published? For composers that are still alive, you don't need to include the birth date in the program notes.

I just received an email response about this today - his birthdate is 1964.
