Hello all

Post by BB06 »

I just wanted to say hi. I am new to the fluteland website and this forum. I used to play the flute in high school for 3 yrs ( 13+ yrs ago). I was actually in a couple few school concerts back then and I was very good at it. I just decided to start playing the flute again as a hobby. I have the scales and the key notes memorized, the only problem that I am having is getting the fingerings down without looking at the keys. Any and all pointers are welcome. I look forward to chatting with all of you. 8) :D

Hi! The best tip I can give you is get a good teacher and keep enjoying the flute :D

Also- if you're looking for tips or advice on fluting, I strongly recommend you join the FLUTE mailing list, find info on it at www.larrykrantz.com. Even if you just want to lurk, or search the archives, it's worth joining for the great info.

Good luck!

Joanna
