Jackie Evancho, Connie Talbot, Zachary Kellogg and others

Post by fluteguy18 »

Has anyone heard of these people? They're remarkable children! I don't know whether to be in awe or to feel sad for them. To be so successful at such a young age not only shows talent but also shows something about their parents. Even though I doubt that they have abusive parents, it makes me wonder how much of their success is actually their dream and not their parents'.

Check them all out and let me know what you think! They're all remarkably talented.

I'm a big Jackie fan. Watch out Renee Fleming!.... but the question is... are there pushy parents on the sidelines? I mean, David Archuleta's father was a pushy parent and was ultimately restricted at the end of American Idol from having backstage access.

I love Jackie! She has the most amazing voice in the world for a child. I always wonder too if their parents are living out their dreams through their child. I hope their parents aren't forcing them to do this for the money, fame, etc. I fear that if they are, they will be burnt out on their talent and won't wish to continue through their journey to success. As for their natural ability, they are all wonderful!

Yeah, Jackie Evanko was on America's Got Talent. A truly amazing voice even compared to an adult. Many thought she was lip-synching at first until the judges had her sing something impromptu.

You have to wonder though, if a child sounds like that as a kid, what will she sound like when she grows up? Will she get even better, or will she burn-out her voice by the time she is grown?

I actually really worry about/for her. Even though I can't do anything for her, I still worry on her behalf. When she's not singing she seems so polished and so coached. She seems almost like an adult. She could just have a very gracious personality, but I don't know...

She has a beautiful voice though. I hope she doesn't burn out early. It would be such a shame.

I normally don't watch TV so I miss all that stuff but I watched the Jakie video you linked to and that's pretty special and I have to think she really is the driving force behind what she does and she has a very strong will, and does what she believes in.

haha..I just saw this post today - but I thought I'll comment anyways.
I love Jackie Evancho so much!!!!! Her voice is just amazing! And of course
her voice will become better and better just like any other person who practices
a talent. Practicing a talent at a young age will make them blossom when they are
older, not fade. :) Connie Talbot is very, very good as well.
