Hello everyone!


You can call me Anne. I have been playing the flute since 6th grade, and I'm now in the 8th grade. I'm an intermediate player and I'm taking private lessons, I play in our school band, and I play for my family during holidays/special occasions.


I used to rent from Wardbrodt, until the flute was so old the keys literally fell off!! My parents took it in to be fixed and came back with a FRENCH FLUTE!!! My very own too! My band teacher wouldn't let me take the plugs out of the keys until just a few weeks ago. It's really hard to cover up the holes, but I really like my french flute.

Hi! I've been playing since the 6th grade too, although now I'm in the 9th grade. I don't have time to take private lessons, though.

It's great that you got a new flute! And yeah, I know it's tough at first to cover up the holes when you're playing, but after a few weeks you'll get it.

Any time you need help, feel free to ask! :)

Hihi =) You can call me PandaGirl11 =) I've been playing flute for...exactly one week now =P I'm in grade 11, so kind of late to start, but hey, I had to finish all my piano before my mom would let me start =) Congrats on your flute!

Hi i satrted in the 6th grade as well but im in 9th grade now!! I hope we can talk or pm each other! that would be cool!! anyways i don't think i would ever want to play a flute with holes! isn't it hard to play?? i donno i just alwyas like the easy way out! HA HA HA thats me!! anyways (i say anyways a lot by the way) i hope 2 keep in touch! :lol:

pandagirl11,

You want to talk about starting late? Try 31 years old, no prior musical experience and learning to play. I've just had my second private lession. Been a lot of fun, if difficult. I've been told the flute is one of the most difficult instruments to start on.
