Miyazawa flutes, any suggestion?

Post by CDcooler »

hi, I am considering Miyazawa flutes. PA-101may be the best for me. There's no local shops around here. So do you have any good suggestion for purchasing one with best price? thanks

HI,

You should look online for who sells them (JL Smith, Fluteworld, etc.) I think Miyazawa's US distribution center is in Iowa. I'm not sure how to contact them, but again, I'm sure you can find them online. If you buy from them, the flute will come with Straubinger pads (look into that and see if it's something you want/need).

I don't know how you came up with your decision to want X maker's Z model flute, but I hope you tried MANY brands and MANY models before you decided. If you tried one flute and you liked it, please understand that one identical to it may NOT sound the same. High end flutes are hand-made and therefore, all have their own personalities. I suggest you try many flutes through trials (JL Smith does them through the mail if you give them your credit card number).

All the best to you!
