I am part of a relatively new flute trio consisting of myself, my former teacher and band director and someone from my band. The playing is awesome, but we are having a terrible time coming up with a name. One person with some influence has come up with Flute Loops. Now, considering that we are playing classical pieces professionally, this sounds way too elementary and frivolous. We have already tried something geographical, but everyone around here does that already. The only one that has been reasonable so far is Triple Melody
We're trying to come up with something creative that sounds professional, yet not boring or stuffy at the same time. If anyone has any ideas, please post back... we're pretty desperate!
