A - C Fingering

Post by Fox »

Hey guys,
I've been looking at the fingerings for the upper register and I have a problem with the proper fingering. I have two charts and diagrams in Trevor Wye's Beginners book. The notes from High A to C are different in each chart. The chart I have been using the most says to press down the following for each note:
A: Left hand B, 2nd finger Right hand 1st finger, 4th finger (D#)
A#: Left hand B, Right hand 1st finger, D lever
B: Left hand: 1st finger, B, third finger Right hand D# lever
C: Left hand: 1st finger, 2nd finger, third finger, fourth finger, Right hand 1st finger, B lever

Is this the correct fingering for these notes? the other chart and the book has slightly different fingerings, so looking to see what the basic fingering is for these notes.

Can you see this fingering chart?

It's not the best. I'm trying to understand it, but so far I'm still working on one octave (middle).[/url]

I find the following fingering charts helpful:
