I practice almost daily though I I've had a few breaks where I didn't play for 1-2 weeks. I don't have any teacher so I'm just (occasionally) reading "How to Play the Flute" by Howard Harrison.
Fullmetal Alchemist - Bratja
The Lion King - Kings of the Past (no bgm)
There's a few mistakes with Bratja. I've done at least 10 takes tonight and I'm so tired to take another one; there's always a problem here and there including not noticing the SD card was already full LOL.
My biggest issue so far is my embouchure. I editted them out, but I often have to adjust a few times just to get to that "right" feel. When I don't get that "right" feel, low Cs become near-impossible and mid F and up sound freakish.
Nearly 5 months later, how am I doing?

It's sounding good especially for teaching yourself. It's good that you know when the embouchure doesn't feel right. Also great that you're making some use of dynamics in your phrasing. Just keep at it, there's definitely a lot of promise.

Thanks. Is there anything glaring that needs to be corrected, like maybe I'm holding it a bit wrong?
