Looking for something to play!

Hello,
Iam new to this website, but it has been a valuable place of information to me for quite a while.
I started with the flute 8years ago, but being a inpatient kid very quickly quit. Now on my second bachellor I decided that I will start over and learn this instrument that I always loved. I have been playing nearly the whole last year.
Sadly circumstances do not allow me to have a teacher. Despite that I go very methiodically in my learning as there are a lot of teachers on the web that share their insights in many forms. Since I decided to retry learning this instrument I have been putting a lot of practice in it, and I think it has started to pay off.

One of the major problems is "what do i play now?", with no teacher to guide me and my choices pretty much constrained to the public domain of sheet music is really difficult to find something I can play all the way through.
At the mmoment I keep practicing the very basic ones like greensleevers and studies No1-2-3 form kohler and gariboldi, and a scale of choice for the week.

I am in search for something that is challenging but not too much. I had been trying out stubborness Cannon in D by Pachebell but I get stuck midway when piece shift to the higher register and my "fluency" of the high register is not that enough to play that part.
I am trying to give as clear a picture as I can to get a proper suggestion so please ask me anything

I have found the sites you have suggested! flutetunes is an amazing one, and the pieces that are castegorized as easy were very helpfull and still are! But i want to find something more challenging but their "intermediete" level is so broad I cannot find something easy enough for what i can do. Imslp is also an amazing database, but i completely lack the knowledge to find something there :S
I tought of posting here in hope that people would have some suggestions, although I understand that it is very difficult to do so with what information I have given, but I really dont know what information would be relevant.

Yes, flutetunes.com is a terrific resource.
Now, in your spare time, begin to learn to play by ear.
You'll be glad you did.
Start with simple stuff, and play along with anything you're really into.

I tried played along with simple songs, but i always felt i was just making noise although i can see how this exercise is helpfull.
