I'm a college junior, a music major and completely bored of the music my professor is always suggesting. Also my classmates always find the neatest solos and I really feel left behind playing traditional flute repertoire. Bach, Mozart, Chaminade, Hindemeth, BLEH!!!

I want to order some new pieces but I noted that flute world is generally lacking descriptions of pieces. So I'm looking for some cool unaccompanied things. I'm playing at about a lvl 3 according to flute worlds listing. But wouldn't mind a challenge either. Some examples of cool pieces my fellow flutists found before me, "... and the strange, unknown flowers..." by Charles Delaney.
And "Hypnosis" by Ian Clarke.
Thanks!

What kind pieces are you looking for? Could you arrange Milton Babbitt's "Around the Horn"?
