Pain in hand

Post by NoviceFlautist »

I haven't been playing for very long and I am trying to teach myself.

When I hold the flute for any length of time my left hand aches.

How should I be holding the flute to prevent this?

Try these links. They should help you to learn the proper position so that you do not injure your hand.

Didn't you joined any class for learning flute? I think you should join there so that you can learn how to hold and all the basics without injuring your hands.
