To preface, I would like to say I am a very new to the flute. I am having trouble with accurately hitting certain notes in the middle of the register. For example when I try to play G right above the staff, I usually get a bunch of "noise." ice noticed that one of the noises is from the lower G coming through and one is from the harmonic (I think?) right above it coming through. Is there anything I need to know about this? Are there any exercises that can help me to improve how accurately I can hit the notes without all the noise?
Thank you!

Re: Note accuracy?
It could be a problem with the flute or it could be that you are not focusing the air stream correctly. Ask a flute player to try your flute or take it into a music store and ask them to check it out.
