Can't play C4!
Hi. I noticed that u once posted about this subject
before and u said about your lips being that close together. For the high notes,
it is better to have a loose embochure so the air can pass through easier and u
wont get a weak hissing sound. Just try adjusting your embochure and how much
air u pass through and u'll get it sooner or later, remember, its a really hard
note to get, and there are loads of other people that have trouble with it, so u
arent alone! [8)]

if you have a B footjoint try using the B natural
mechanism when playing c4, it improves tone and intonation

I'm not sure what kind of flute you're playing on,
but I'll share my experience. I've been playing on the same old flute forever,
and at best could hit a not very pretty A. I just got 2 flutes for trial that
are a major step up from my old Armstrong ( Pearl 765 and Altus 1107). Guess
what? I can now play a C4. I'll need some practice, but it was nice to know
that part of the problem was the flute!![]
