help with keys by touch on the flute

Post by BB06 »

I noticed on the fluteland.com website that it talks about "Live online lessons" with an actual teacher. How do I go about getting started with that? I am having trouble with memorizing the fingerings for the flute. I know the scales and what the notes are on the scales it's just the actual fingerings on the flute that I am having the problems with. Knowing what the keys are by touch is what I am trying to accomplish. This is where I need a teacher to help me via webcam or whatever. Any and all help is greatly appreciate. And thank you very much. :D

I'm wondering if you have looked at some of the fingering charts online. I'm not sure from your post what specifically you are having trouble with in working out the fingerings but there are several different formats online for fingerings. Some are downloadable and printable, while others are exclusively online where you click on the note you want the fingerings to and then it will show the basic fingering for that note. I think I have seen a pretty good chart on this site

Also this site does have an instructional section, although I haven't really explored it to see how helpful it would be for me. here's the link, and it does include a pretty good fingering chart as well.

If you want other fingering sites, I can pass those links along too.

Hope this helps at least some.
