mouth placing

I''m a new student, 59 years old. I have a problem wi th
finding the exect mouth position. I don''t like at the mirror all the time.Can
you give me a good tip?[:devil:] [:devil:]

All I can say is feel your flute out. Roll in, Roll out
and see how it feels and sounds (though I do think this affects the tuning I'm
not sure) Adjust how you are inserting the headjoint. Do you play another
woodwind instrument? I played the sax for 2 years before playing flute which
made tonguing easy and mouth placement semi difficult.
