I've noticed recently that when i play the flute my top lip is lop-sided compared to the bottom. I sort of...pull it over to the left and end up with a dimple in my left cheek, but I don't feel myself doing it. My flute teacher a few weeks ago told me to look in the mirror why i played a scale, and the higher the notes got the more to the side my lip went "/
Whats more, I've been playing the flute for nearly 9 years now and noone's ever picked up on it so I'm not so sure whether it's a recent addition to my playing or something I've always had :S
And idea's on how to stop myself doing it? I have no idea what to do...
bad habit help?

Apart from the aesthetic side of the matter, I think you should not concern about this unless it brings any bad effect on your tone or overall playing.
There are many different styles of lip shape, take a look at this link:

You might find one similar to yours. Important is that you feel progress in your flute playing, special attention given to the quality, purity and color of your tone.
