Unusual Trills

ok so i'm playing this song for our field show called journey of man and on the second movement i have weird trill. i actually have two they go from G to D and Bb to F. at school we have coaches but our woodwind coach doesnt play flute and he came up with one, although it works alright the note tends to mess up and make a squeak. the trill is moderately fast in the song but in order to make the one i learned sound good i have to play it faster and my teacher gets mad at me. so i was wondering if anybody knew how to do this.

What you describe is actually a tremolo rather than a trill. Trills are either a half step or whole step. Any larger interval is a tremolo. For those you mention, your only option is to use the normal fingering for each note. There are a few where you might be able to move fewer fingers, but those require the usual fingerings.
