Hi, could anyone suggest a trill fingering for F sharp to A natural in the third octave? It comes up in a piece I'm doing in Wind Ensemble. Thanks!

Kind of hard to type out a fingering, so here's an excellent website to help ya. The 3rd octave tremolo link is towards the bottom of the page, and I verified the F# to A is there. Seems to be a harmonic fingering, so give it some air.

Just be aware that F# to A is not a trill - it is a tremolo. Trills are between notes that are a half or whole step apart like F# to G or F to G. F# to A is a minor third and that makes it a tremolo. So, you will find the fingering in the tremolo section, not the trill section, of the website referenced in the previous message.
