I have been playing a Gemeinhardt
open holed in line G flute for 13 years. I am going to upgrade to a professional
model..either a Yamaha or Sankyo. I really don''t know if I should switch to
an offset G. Could anyone tell me what they prefer? I have small hands, but
haven''t really had a problem with the inline so far. Also, any opinions on
which type of flute to buy?

Should I buy an offset G pro flute?
Dear Lisa, If you have been playing
an inline G flute for 13 years, I think you should stay with it. Your hands are
already used to it so there is no reason for a switch. I play inline G and it
works for me much better than offset G (I also play a Sankyo - nice flutes
!!!).
