Octive Jumps Down
I recently got a peice for an honor band try out and a measure in the piece has a high E-flat3 to E-flat2, as well as D3 to D2 and C3 to C2. I'm hitting the D and C great but the E-flat I'm haveing troubles with, any suggestions?

That's an excellent point, Zevang, and applies to a number of other instances as well. For example, some people stop the air when tonguing with something other than the tongue. Visualizing "blowing a whole note" even while double tonguing (i.e. the air stream remains constant but is being interrupted periodically by the tongue) can vastly improve technique.
