Throat Noises
I noticed that sometimes I make weird noises in the throat while playing the flute. Do you know how to get rid of it?

Make sure that you keep your throat open. Most often if this happens, it's because you're cutting off yoru air with your throat. Be sure to keep the airstream constant, as if you were playing a whole note, and just lightly flick the tongue into the airstream to articulate. Don't completely stop the air lower down. Also try to eliminate any extra movement in the mouth/throat area from your playing, as this just complicates things and prevents you from keeping the throat open and eliminating these noises.

Actually i've just recently learned from my teacher to hum and play at the same time. So you play the note but at the same time you do something with the throat to sing as well. It's supposed to kinda buzz a bit. After I got that, I play again without singing and the sound gets better and the throat noises become minimal...
Although sometimes I make the noises by accident when I play forte for high notes...
