Bach Flute Sonata II (E Major)

Post by auwon »

Hello everyone! I am looking for the accompaniment part for Bach's 2nd sonata for flute (bmv 1031)...i found a midi file online but it skips when it plays! I've also found cds that come with the music, problem is I do not need the music, I just need the accompaniment! Does anyone have a file I could download or perhaps would know where I could get just the cd? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Try music minus one. I'm not positive that they have this piece, but it's a pretty standard part of the repertoire, so chances are good.

you could also try sheetmusicplus.com or fluteworld.com.

Chances are, are that you will have to buy the music as well. Typically you have to buy them as a set becuase different editions may have slight changes in the score. So, you might just have to buy the music and acc. together so that the piano part and flute part will line up 100% correctly.

SmartMusic is a really, really cool program you can buy for your computer and they have the accompaniments to LOTS of repertoire pieces (including all of the Bach Flute Sonatas) built right in to play along with. You can also change tempos, record yourself, have the computer play it for you, use the built in metronome/tuner, and so much more. It's a really great buy!
