I want to thank everyone for their help and support and giving opinions on tis board! I dont always post but I read the debates and absorb the information but anyways:

I was awarded the Hillsborough County High School Master Musician title about two weeks ago. It's just a really extensive program that includes taking a theory test, submitting a music resume/portfolio, and several recordings of my playing. I never dreamed I'd be awarded it but I gave it a go with two seniors at my school (im a sophomore) and all three of us got it.

So the title automatically gets me into All County Band for the rest of my high school career. (Thank goodness, I dont have to worry about getting in anymore.) I just have to send in a tape for seating placement.

That's awesome! Congrats on that award (and not having to audition for the honor band!)! Good luck with chair placement, though!
