hi, im new here to the forums, but ive been playing flute for 5 years(and in starting my 6th yay) i absolutly love the flute!(and yeah, im a guy...)
questions:
-can anyone suggest me a piccolo to buy?nothing to pricy, but like a brand that makes good ones would be great!
-does anyone have the "peter and the wolf" sheet notes that i can print?

First off, welcome!

There are a lot of great piccolo out there. Not knowing what you want in particular (wood, plastic, etc) or how much you want to spend, I can offer a few suggestions that may help get you started in the looking process.

Mid priced - Sonare makes a great plastic piccolo for around $700. I a few students on them and they have had no problems. Yamaha is always an option in this area as well.

Wood:
Emerson Boston Legacy (not super pricey) - this is a great picc for the money, but of corse, you should play it (as well as any of these) and make that decission for yourself

There are MANY others, but these are the ones that I have experienced first hand and would recommend to students. If you are to go to the higher priced piccs, Burkart (the Global model is a little cheaper than others) is one that stands out to me (again there are MANY others).

Fluteworld has a great trial program that will allow you to try a few out in your own home. That is a good place to start.

I would add Zentners and Roy Seamans (not the LTD line from Gemeinhardt, but an actual Roy Seaman) to the list of affordable wood piccolos. The Pearl Grenaditte is also pretty nice, and can be had for just about $1000 new. Without a clear price range, it's hard to be too specific, as Fluttiegurl said, so if you can give us a bit more information we can probably give you more help.

As for the Peter and the Wolf sheetmusic, I do have it but cannot send it to you. If you'd like the main flute excerpts, Jeanne Baxtresser's book of orchestral excerpts has it (as well as those from many other works). You might also be able to purchase yourself the full flute part from the web, but you're very unlikely to find it for free.
