Graduate Flute Programs

Hi. I am a Canadian flutist and am looking into graduate programs both in Canada and the states. I have a good idea of what programs I would like to take in Canada but don't know very much about American programs. Obviously there is the Rice, Northwestern, Juilliard, Indiana etc but I am looking into finding more about the smaller schools with good teachers and successful students. I am leaning more to a university/college side versus a conservatory and would be very interested in a school with good funding. If any of you have any ideas for me they would all be much appreciated. Thanks!!!
