Music for an audition

Post by fluting4HIm »

Hey,
I know there are a lot of threads on what to play for auditions/concerts ets., but I just had to make another. I have an audition that is very important to me personally coming up next week, and I've only had about a week and half to prepare for it. I didn't want to do anything risky and pull out some of my more difficult pieces that aren't all the way polished up yet. I only have a few minutes to play and Im supposed to play a lyrical excerpt and a technical one. Do you think the Mozart DM 1st movement and Muczinski's 2nd movement from Three preludes would be good enough to make a great impression? I'm pretty solid at both.
