Hi all:
recently , when browsing YouTube about flutes , I found a video about a new Device named "THE FLUTE PLUG"... It is supssed to replace the original Cork and Crown of the flute, because it improves the tone and sound on the flute. Have any of you had a knowledge about it ? It will be very useful to hear your comments and opinions. This is the YouTube video: https://youtu.be/aU1H7YQfToE
Have you Heard about the " flute plug" ?

I'm not familiar with this specific plug, but there have been a number of similar devices intended to replace the headjoint cork. These are usually advertised as a miracle that will suddenly make your flute sound better.
I bought one of these many years ago. https://www.flutespecialists.com/produc ... lute-plug/
It made a slight difference in the sound of my flute but certainly far short of a miracle.
I would be very wary of spending hundreds of $ or € on such a device. If you want to experiment, try the MUCH cheaper performance flute plug that I linked above.

"Never give a flute player a screwdriver."
