Cleaning KeyPads

Post by Hakaru »

I am in the marching band at my school. recently we were learning new drill and set our instruments aside. Then unexpectedly the sprinklers went off and got our instruments wet. I quickly dried the whole thing. However the keypads became sticky. Does anyone know what to do?

 Im sorry. Im really sorry but that is really funny.

I read in another thread that you should take a hankerchief and gently rub it against the pads. I think rubbing alcohcal cleans it.

try this - buy some cigerette paper. make sure you tell your parents what it's for! and then gently press the keys against the cigerette paper until the sticky sound is eliminated. Yeah, that is pretty funny.
