I have heard some recent great pieces by Japanese composers for concert flutes. I can't remeber the names, though.
Anybody know names or where their music can be found?

Miyagi wrote Haru No Umi, an amazing piece for flute. I don't know where to buy it, but you can try fluteworld and various online shops.

Toru Takemitsu has written some music for flute of excellent quality.
