Calling all undergrad flutists! *Scholarship*

Post by az1983 »

Hey everybody!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Arizona Flute Society has given the green light for our First Annual Founders Scholarship. Open to high school seniors and collegiate undergraduates, the winner of the division will receive a $750.00 scholarship! The event is part of our yearly Festival and Competition being held at Phoenix College on April 27th, 2013. Other divisions include debut, junior and senior with cash prizes for the top 3 winners in each category. More info is available under the events tab at www.arizonaflutesociety.com. We're very excited about this, even though we are going out on a limb to offer a prize of this size. Please tell your friends and anyone you think may be interested!

If the competition isn't your thing, try the free exhibition area. We'll have plenty of national vendors such as: Altus, Burkart, Resona, Muramatsu, Dean-Yang, Little Piper, Flute World and local exhibitors representing Pearl and Haynes.

I, personally, will be wandering around playing with flutes and trying to convince Liz (@ Altus) to give me one of the new 18K Atsui flutes....HA! Please come join us and have some fun!
