La Monte Italian Made Flute

Post by JChiang »

Hi All,

I'm new to the flute world, just picked one up cheap as I'm primarily a Euphonium and Trombone player. It has La Monte written on it and found that it's made in Italy. Does anybody know anything about this flute? Also came in an Artley Case, don't know if they're related at all.

I took it apart, polished it so it looks quite nice now and readjusted a bit here and there to get rid of some leaks.

Any info on this flute would be great. Thanks

AS far as I know La Folia and all its variations always make me want to weep - out of sheer beauty.Among other dances, the courenta, typical dance of these valleys, is performed with instruments like accordions, flutes and hurdy-gurdies.
Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.
