I have a Haynes piccolo. From what I can tell by the serial number, it was manufactures in 1950. Solid silver. No dings or major scratches. All the pads are intact and the keys all work. I played in junior high band, but not since then and this piccolo deserves to be played. I'm trying to locate values, but those have been sketchy at best. Is like to get as much information about it as I can so I can make an informed sale.
Also, an Armstrong flute. Silver plated. Same condition as far as pads and keys. I don't know how to tell the age of the flute. I got it at the same time I got the piccolo, but I highly doubt it is as old as the piccolo.
Any information or offers would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Selling Haynes piccolo and Armstrong flute
Haynes made some very fine piccolos, but unfortunately, they don't seem to be commanding very good prices right now. There was a similar one on eBay (the auction ended today) that was also a 1950s vintage. The seller was asking $1499 for it but it went unsold and had no bidders.
Silver plated Armstrong flutes abound on eBay. They typically sell for between $50-$100.
